Always seen, yet always out of reach. No matter how far Earth’s surface is remade in our image, the beauty of the skies remains largely untouched from visible pollution. I see the same skies as my ancestors, for now.

06 Proliferation
Reproduction. Replication. Life’s only means of continuing to exist is to recreate itself. So much has been created, and so much has decayed, never to be known to have existed. The creation of life is but a momentary celebration.

07 Consciousness
From sensation to memory, to experience and extrapolation, emerges a narrative that can look to the future. From nothing, life has acquired the means to understand and decode itself. Truly the strangest of gifts.

08 Palms Clenching the Earth
My awareness dips, and I have lost track of the present. Hold onto the immediate sensations, hold onto what you know.

09 As One
From nothing we came and to nothing we will return. All life on Earth is reflected in me, and I am but a pebble in the river of existence.
