My works are written to tell stories. Whether it be an expression of human arrogance in the terraforming of distant planets in Numen. Or maybe a two-day ritual of early hominids in worship of the Great Being in the Sky, in Temple of the Sun. Perhaps it could be finding oneself trapped in cyclical cynicism and refusing to be open to new experiences in Evanesce. Or even just the cute story of a young girl trying to make sense of the world in The Possible Paths of Miss Pickett.
The full story of these concept albums can be found on this site. But of course, the real journey is with the music. The interesting and unusual compositional choices made to carry and embody these curious stories can only be experienced, not described.
My music does touch on existing and easily identifiable genres such as neoclassical, chamber orchestra, jazz & electro-jazz, experimental electronica, and world-music. But the strength of each piece is combining these with the myriad components and concepts that tell the story.
My services as a composer and how to contact me can also be found here. My work as a for-hire composer has similarly been an attempt at taking my skills at conveying and communicating the intricacies of a well thought out concept and applying it to other people's stories and world-building. My previous works for other people's project can be found under "Game Soundtracks".
